Anthony Montoya Artist Statement Anthony is the owner of Anthony Montoya Woodworks. He is known locally for his custom furniture and cabinetry, as well as in the bay area, for his projects under interior architect Mark Dutka, of InHouse Design Studio. His shop is open to discuss any potential furniture or cabinet commissions. His abstract sculpture, a combination of wood and other natural found objects, has anatomical qualities, is admired for its aesthetic beauty and symbolic nature. Anthony was born in Santa Barbara, California, in 1962, and moved to Weed, California, when he was ten years old. He has been in Chico since 1985. |
