Felted Barn Owl

Christine Connerly lives in the forest and loves to take photos and make mixed media art using natural materials. She creates felted creatures, scenes, and soap with wool, collages with paper, sticks, fabric, leaves, paint, and found objects, and jewelry with stones, paper beads, shells, glass, and fabric.

She learns about birds, animals, mushrooms, plants, and trees by watching and photographing them. She states: “By paying attention and cherishing the natural world, I feel connected to nature and want to take better care of our tiny blue jewel of a planet.”
