As discussed earlier in this post, Fire Dancing at to the Chico ART Festival, we are bringing back the DANCE to the Chico ART Festival this year. On Friday, May 12 with the Fire Dancers at 8 pm. On Saturday, May 13, we have added a Latin flavor to our music and dance offering.

At 12 noon Ballet Folklorico De Chico will perform Mexican traditional dances. This dance group is directed by Francis Miranda.

Following Ballet Folklorico at 1 pm listen and dance along the Chico Latin Orquesta Pequeña with Katarra Shaw and guests members. our stage is a bit small for the full Orquesta, so select core group will be performing.

The Chico Latin Orquesta is passionate about bringing the Afro Caribbean rhythms of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue and Bachata to the North State. As individuals they are multi-instrumentalists, dancers and artists who cross many genres of music. Chico Latin Orquesta is where they come together with their different backgrounds and talents as musicians to express their own version of Latin music. !Sabroso!
