Marlowe Boyd digital images will be on display at the Art at the Matador, May 10 and 11. Marlowe states about his artwork: “My camera is just a tool I use to capture light. My real interest is how I manipulate the capture image to represent my personal interpretation and expression of the subject. I use Photoshop to “paint” my image.”
“This often requires altering texture, color, and composition. At other times the original image is a powerful statement that needs no enhancement or alteration. The medium of digital imaging has infinite possibilities and challenges for creative expression and as such is extremely seductive. I can’t resist.”
